And, to show that maybe it's the person and not the outfit...I present the man who MUST show off BOTH his cuff links(as well as his watch) in every picture.

Nicely done Alan.:eusa_clap That lapel button hole reminds me of an Oxxford. Let me know when you're moving to the frozen north. We hire you in a nano second. Cheers.

Silk and Cashmere Sharkskin Suit.

Ok, here's my attempt at topping it. This suit I designed from a picture of the great Nat King Cole. It was for a fashion show at a convention of Custom Clothiers in Vegas two years ago. Here's the scoop. The fabric is an English Silk and Cashmere Sharkskin weave. The Coat is a single breasted (yes, it has a high armhole Matt) peaked lapels, ten inch side vents, slanted pockets, covered buttons, pic stitching and turn back cuffs. The Trouser is a flat front, adjustable side tabs, Daks style pockets, plain bottom with a "V" cut on the outseam. We also made a tie out of the matching orange silk paisley lining. The whole garment was made trimmer to mimmick the early 1960's.
It didn't win. But hey, it's all about participating (yeah right).

Love the suit Marty M. How could you not have won??

Simple, no Italian Judges. Actually, the Clothier that won is a good friend of mine. His suit came with a matching 8 panel cap. :eusa_doh: I'll know better next time.

... that's really amazing.

Thanks Jovan. I love Connery's Satin Sleeve Cuffs in your Avatar. Now that would be the suit to top. Can you post a larger picture of that?
