Hey ladies I'm new here, my name is Nancy, and I need some advise. I have a Christmas event with my boyfriend at his base in Japan. I have bought this dress which is really very green in person and these red shoes but I have no clue what to do with my hair. So here is the dress

What if you do your hair like it is done in the photo, have the nails painted red
and don't forget the false eyelashes. A single strand of pearls should top it off,
you do not want to show up his superiors wives in way so keep it simple but elegant.

Nope he is in Atsugi it's about an hour away from Tokyo

Why not just do your hair in hot curlers and leave it loose and flowing? Or is that too informal?

I think it needs to be a bit more formal I mean they are going to be all pretty and dressed up in their uniforms so I need to look fancy too

Yes I am going to be there for the holidays. My boyfriend is stationed in Atsugi with the Navy. I am super excited. I have always wanted to do. I leave on the 19th and its a wonder I can sleep I'm so excited.

I would do a loose updo. Curl your hair into waves, secure the top, back and sides with combs and then pin your curls into place.

If you're wearing the red shoes, I'd also be sure to match your accessories. Carry a red purse, and find a red flower for your hair. A poinsetta would look lovely.
