Calling all Pegasus D Pocket Owners

Hey, I'm about to pull the trigger on the Pegasus D Pocket S (but I'm a little torn between Bill Kelso's The Duke).

The one thing that I would need to see is how the Pegasus D looks unzipped, as I will pretty much always wear it that way, Snake Plissken Style.

But I've seen almost no pictures of what it looks like unzipped while someone is wearing it. Kevin from Pegasus said he didn't have any pics of that for me.

Would the Pegasus owners be kind enough to take pictures or video of how it looks on them unzipped? I would be most appreciative.

Not to throw another wrench at you, but Norshor Leather's NS1 is probably the most beautiful D-pocket out there IMHO.

This one is Bretron's in Goat.

Wow, Handy Mike, I didn't even know about this jacket. It does complicate my buying process now, but I'm so glad you told me.

Do you have any pics of it being worn unzipped?

You'll find them on the Norshor Leather Facebook page.
As far as unzipped Pegasus...

the only ones I've seen unzipped.

Please don't mind the rest of my outfit it was nearly 38°C in the afternoon and just took the photo for Bunyip so he could see the jacket break in.

@Bunyip, did you choose you next jacket, mate? ;-)

Go Speedy! Just agonising over some minor details before I pull the trigger, will let you know!

Hoosier Daddy, that's a great looking bootlegger. Fits you well. I do prefer the bigger collar on the Pegasus though, but I was very tempted with the aero

Hey guys, I need your opinions on this. I'm going to probably go with the Duke.

I'm a 36, this is picture of a guy who is a 40.

I would go with the zipper, not buttons, but that's not my question. I love the big collar, but do you think that it extends too close to the shoulder seams and makes the shoulders look too narrow? I think this looked different on Snake's Jacket. I trust your opinions, so please share. Thanks. duke buttons 40R.jpg

I think a slightly smaller collar would look great.
Also, be sure to ask for slim sleeves/ wrist cuffs if you like that. Certain models of BKs jackets, while period accurate, come with wider sleeves/ cuffs as standard. Andy will make adjustments if asked :)
It's always best to ask a lot of questions IMHO.

Oops, I forgot to mention that Thedi Leathers do a nice one too:

Theodoros can do beautiful patinations with different waxes so it will look 60years old straight out of the box.

That is nice. It looks much closer to the Plissken jacket in Escape.. than the Kelso, IMO, chiefly because the Kelso collar and lapels look to be significantly bigger than the original. The Kelso Duke looks to be somewhere between the Plissken and the one Belstaff made for The Aviator.

I love the look of that jacket, but I don't think it would wear so well 'open'!

cool jacket and color, while I normally like longer sleeve, but I like this shorter sleeve on this.

Check out the US Authentic Barnstormer. Similar to the one in the picture. Until recently, I hadn't seen one of these photos beyond the website.

Well, just to help you out a bit, haha! NorShor all the way! Bret’s jacket is one of my favourite leather jackets of all time. And if you’re in Europe, go with Thedi. They’re super nice and their jackets are so beautiful. They can also customize everything without much of an upcharge.
(I had a BK once but would never buy from them again. Quality and especially customer support were terrible.)
