Tak for sidst. Det var hyggeligt at m??de jer.

It was very nice indeed to meet you guys. A small but exclusive bunch we were.

The surroundings were very well chosen: The Library Bar in Plaza Hotel, Copenhagen. It was built in 1913 and the bar more or less looks like it did originally. Apparently Forbes Magazine at one stage have rated The Library Bar as one of the top 5 Hotel bars in the world.

And yes, good luck with your project, Hammelby.

It was all in fairly relaxed mood. There was the perfect suit and all the gadgets you can dream up There was the A2 and even two similar scarfs There was the occasional RAF BD jacket and the polkadotted blue ascot. Next time Tinseltown - you've better come for a look-see for yourself
And who knows - we might even have the pleasure of Belly Tank hanging out with the rest of us. Or Smithy flying down from the north...:cheers1:

Sorry I missed out- I'm still in NZ.

Had to extend my stay here due to an illness in the family.

All going well, I'll be back around the 12th of this month.

Bye bye Hammelby- bon voyage and good luck.

Speedster- I'll let you know when I'm back and we can do the trouser/suit thing- I haven't forgotten.

We'll have to have another little get-together when it suits you remaining Danes.

I have vintage watches, clothing and militaria to show and tell.
This trip to NZ has been a rollercoaster in many ways but has also been very good vintage and antique-wise.

meet you tank. But hey, as i told spitfire and speedster.. you can maby read about my trip in POLITIKKEN every week!!

I went to a meeting yesterday at the newpaper, and we agreed (need to have some formalities cleared) that i would draw a full page comic storyboard-strip-travel-diary every sunday About my trip, the illusions of hollywood, being danish in america, behind the scenes, dissapointments and wack experiences. Im so thrilled.. ill keep you updated

Oh!.. and look out for Politikken on sunday, there is huge articles on Lindy Hop, me and my vintage style. I Just saw the cover, me and a gal doing a nice "break", looking swank with collar bar, pocketwatchchain, and my oldtown suit!

Did any of you other danes see the spread? It introduced the readers to Lindy Hop, the retro culture and even had a little column on Hammelby...
It was fun reading, knowing it was an FLounger on those pics and in the coloumn.
DO TELL.. what's with Hollywood.. are you persuing an acting career? (I've forgotten)...
And congrats on getting aknowledged by two of the most famous producers in Denmark.

I think I will be taking up Lindy Hop very soon! You all made it sound so fun and carefree!
