Cal Leather Heavy LAPD Motorcycle Sam Brown Belt Leatherman Jacket Sz 44-42 Large Leather with Duty Belt jacket waist 40. Like New From an estate sale This is a vintage Cal Leathers black leather motorcycle jacket is Like New. This jacket is very heavy and appears to have been custom made my guess is in the 1980s perhaps early 90s. Jacket comes equipped with a black leather double prong 4 rows stitching Duty Belt belt by “Safari Land” and is marked 40 that is the waist measurement of the belt. There is no size tag in the jacket The front of the jacket is double riders that can be made to have multiple looks with the zipper and hidden snaps This jacket is pretty flawless and the leather is still soft hand and supple. Jacket is heavy. Pit to pit measurement is approx 24 1/2.” Sleeve length is approx 24 1/2” long. On the back of the jacket, the length from the bottom of collar to the bottom of the jacket is approx 25 1/2” long all measurements approximate see pictures Great vintage motorcycle jacket. No Labels as many of Cal Leathers had none (see below) Features the trademark mouton lined sleeve and open (not connecting) gusset and belt loop up snaps. These features were used by Cal Leather Star Glove. It’s hard to date these but it is most likely from The 1980s a guesstimate of a mostly unused jacket it also has the snaps if you get a mouton collar. Its exactly what I'm looking for but not sure about the fit. I'm not sure if its too big or not. I'm going off of the fit of my Aero Half Belt Premiere which is more of a tighter fit , (I think) I normally wear a 42 , I'm just won dering if my pit to pit is 19 on the Aero if 24 1/2 would be way too big or not

I was thinking the same....This is a beautiful piece of leather, surely worthy and in very good conditions, but not a CAL. Epaulets, grainy leather, double inside pockets, back shape, many details differs
