I went on a Cal binge past month or so and have picked up 3. Somethings got to go because the closet is officially full.
This one probably has the nicest leather characteristics of the 3, but is also a little banged up. It truly feels vintage if that's what you're going for. The liner has had some repairs to arm pit area and inside pocket. Some thinning here and there, but overall intact. Some loose stitching on the outside and the kidney flap, but again nothing coming apart or loose. The main issue is the starting to fray zipper pin. Is fine if you're gentle, but you got to take an extra second or two to make sure it doesn't get worse. Cal is about half hour from me so I might go and see how much to give this thing new life if I don't get back what I paid for it because it definitely is a beautiful example of why this jacket is so loved and will last another 50 years with some TLC. Like I said, leather is gorgeous and nothing compromised, but probably more for leisure wear at this point and not heavy duty riding.
I'm not sure, but I think it's horse based on some of the more stretch mark style break in. This model also has shoulder gussets. My other two don't and I typically don't see them with gussets. Talon main zip and Serval wrist zips.
$325 PPFF Conus Shipping included
PTP 23.75 inches
Shoulder 19 inches
Back 23.25 to 24 at the dip
Sleeve 23.5
