Leave it to Buzz Rickson’s to offer something rarely ever encountered – a jacket made from vegetable-tanned, nubuck horsehide!
This was a style and hide type that immediately struck me in great ways when it was rolled out and HPA just had to order these for our customers who have a passion for the classic vintage styling blended with Buzz Rickson’s sought-after Italian horsehide. And not just any Italian horsehide, but a nubuck suede horsehide that captures the beauty of suede with the durability associated with nubuck.
The jacket depicted is a size 38R and I'm 5' 9" tall, chest 40", waist 30", shirt sleeve 33", weight 147 lbs., and my build is best described as lean and athletic, so the fit is a bit generous (the size 40 was too large for me) and simply as comfy as it is good looking.
HPA has but a handful left in stock from sizes 38 – 42, which grade longer in length of sleeve and body as the jacket size increases. And for those who want a lady's opinion, Amy, who is my right hand at the office, thinks this is the most beautiful jacket we have this year.
