Buzz Rickson sweatshirts

I know a similar thread was here some time ago BUT : Does anybody know where Buzz Rickson sweats can be ordered- bought ? I tried Eastman but they cant get any sweats at all ( why they say on the website that other BR clothing can be especially ordered I really dont know...) and I tried sending emails to various japanese internet shops but no luck. I love the Buzz Rickson stuff, the japanese always do such a fantastic job with repros and they dont sell it anywhere but Japan. I have two LVC sweats which are great ( the eagles 40?Ǭ¥s repro sweat -unfortunately with aging from LVC (why , oh why) , the red Hap Jones sweat, I also have the japanese sweats from Aero and I really want a Buzz Rickson sweat as well. So anybody out there has a secret tip ?

There is a shop in London, called 'American Classics', specialists in repro/vintage denim, who DO sell a selection of products from 'Toyo Enterprise Co.', which comprises, 'Buzz Rickson', 'Sun Surf'(aloha shirts), etc. They used to sell the replica flight jackets, well the nylon ones- B-15C/D/Ma-1. Anyhoo- they were selling sweats too but who knows what they sell now...

One or two of the Oxford/Regent St. dept. stores were even selling Toyo's Sukajan jackets and Hawaiian shirts, as exclusive designer-ware of course.
I remember seeing them in 'Liberty' a couple of years ago.

If you want plain '30s/'40s style sweats, Aero in Scotland sell good ones- I have a few.

If you want to purchase direct from Japan, so that you can get exactly what you want, then you need a friend in Japan. I used to buy a bit from a friend of a friend but I think he' s had enough of me by now...

The Japanese market for repro Americana sure is weird...
