I stopped by their biggest retailer (junky vintage) when I was in Tokyo and got all the Toyo company catalogs. I like their goods. Um.... I can just drive to Long Beach to buy their goods hear, though I'm lucky and on the west coast.

As said above, Calling Self Edge might be the way to go.

Two hundred and forty-five dollars for a pair of blue jeans!?

If you consider that you'd have to move the decimal point one place to the right to purchase originals of the items they reproduce, two hundred and forty-five bucks suddenly seems like a pretty good deal...

I think one pair was even $380.00 yikes:eek: . For that price I'll look for a vintage large size mens pair and cut them down to fit me or our son...
If you have a growing child I suggest you not destroy a pair of originals.
There is a limited supply of vintage out there. Find a pair of "close enoughs" to hold him over until his growing slows down or he decides whether or not he wants to wear vintage.

Here we go again, the $300 blue jeans surprise.

There is the $800 Mister Freedom denim Peacoat to consider- but no, it's sold out.

Nice duds, indeed.

I like the way they hype the Mister Freedom brand- call it "not a faithful copy of vintage",
Designer, and then do the fastidious detailing and construction. A little easier, perhaps(than fastidious repro-ing)yet even more exclusive.
Oh, The Internet is the most brilliant marketing tool, (Cl)ever.

Thanks for all the input guys! What I'm looking at are the COTTON COVERT APPLEJACK CAPs. It looks just like what I've been looking for and it's not wool or linen or silk or plaid or tweed or leather or denim, just a simple workers 8 panel in a heavy cotton twill. I'm going to call them today.

Has anyone seen something like this from anyplace else? I've looked around a lot.
