Building a Bomber Jacket

Does anyone know where I can get shearling hide that is tanned/enameled on the non-fuzzy side close to WWII specs. I can find hides that are the natural skin tone, but none that are treated that would look anywhere close to WWII acceptable. I want to make my own D1,B3, or B6 but the is providing I can turn up the hides. Id preferable like the redskin but Ill do a seal brown if it comes down to it. Does anyone have any leads on where I can find these? Thanks all!

Do you know that there is but one remaining sheepskin tannery in Oz. Hard to believe.
