Anyone familiar or own this jacket from bucousa website? I am just curious as the address to the company is a block from where I grew up but there is no such business there that I can see.
The description for the J-100 style jacket has some corny language like " made to look like beaten by the California sun", haha.

The price is high and the tailoring looks good. Just wondering if anyone took the plunge on this or have anything to say about it.

Nice looking jacket. Made in California by way of Boston -- must've taken a wrong turn at Albuquerque! Sounds like a new company landed dibs on the Buco name and they found a factory on the East Coast to make their jackets. Vansons is in Boston. What other leather manufacturers out in Boston?
It looks very similar to the Schott and Aero cafe racers over at Insurrection/Thurston Bros. Here's a nice Schott for a lot less, unless you're looking for the soft suede. http://www.thurston-bros.com/#!schott-caf1/c1syn

Was just on their website, and must admit I am not too impressed. Seem to be trying to make a profit on an old label. Only front and back images of the jacket are available, as you show. There are no real description of the jackets- pocket details, liner, etc. But most importantly they don't even list measurements on the site for the jackets! Who is going to throw a grand at a company that seems to have popped up recently [may be wrong on this one], to order a jacket simply by a s, m, l, & xl description? [Large is not listed as available- and yet they state they are the largest manufacturer of motorcycle apparel in the US.]

Me thinks there are much better and proven companies to throw one's hard earned coin at.

For sure, that web is a convoluted mess, probably just a placeholder for someone trying to make some money. That site has been around for a while. I found it when I was researching Buco J-100 over a year ago, at least. The pics are good and the model has the jacket fitted just right, but no details and business addresses do not represent anything tangible. I wouldn't throw any money at that one.
