Brent hats

I got my brents today. Amazing how fast they came.
I really like them both.
the brown/ green stingy I've shaped into a porkpie.
The light grey one is great. It has a few minor moth nibbles- nothing serious.
the color in the picture's funky- but it shows a little more than the ebay one.




I don't have a picture of the greenish one right now. I'll post that a little later

thanks- I love the band on the older of the two. it's just too wacky. kind of different than the standard black grossgrain i've become used to.

Dinerman ..I think your style looks great. You've put the whole thing together . Nice to see folks living the dream...

I wanted to ask...what shop are you in front of for that second pic?

That shop is Arnold hatters in NY. I talked for a while with the owner's son about hats. He said he was glad to see someone my age interested in hats.

It's funny about those clothes. The jacket vest and tie are all vintage stuff picked up at local thrift shops. The hat is ebay, but the shirt and pants are from REI. They're some "magic" nylon fabric. It's stainproof, waterproof, sunproof, ripproof, and weighs next to nothing. And thy've got zillions of hidden pickets. So I can carry all my tech- junk. But you throw a vest over something like that and you'd never know.
