hi this might sound like a stupid question but if wearing braces where should the adjuster sit as on some people ive seen them right near the bottom and some almost going over ths sholuders . Where do other poster wear them.

The two cases you mention kinda indicate the braces are ill fitted for the wearer, but in general, they just end up wherever they need to be for the best comfort re position of the waistband.

The adjuster sits right at the bottom of my rib cage.

The adjuster should sit close to the waist. To accomplish this you have two options: 1)Buy sized braces. 2)Have a tailor or cobbler shorten the braces.
