Greetings!!!! My first post and my first question.

Trousers with belt loops and the wearing of braces. I have neatly removed belt loops from a set of cords that I will wear with braces for work wear personna and will have professional added the button for braces. The dress trousers has belt loops too and before I have them removed also and brace buttons added, do I need to remove those belt loops to still be period correct? There is a vest included with the wearing of the trousers, no matching coat, A2 leather coat will be used. The 30s is the period in History for men's fashion is what I am mentally in.

Thanks

Ed

Don't remove the belt loops. Just add brace-buttons on the inside.
For the 1930's and 40's it is period correct to have both.
The wearer could decide to wear either of them. Also suits with waistcoat from the 1930's had both belt loops and brace-buttons.
