Personally, I like you better in a wider brim. You should look into getting a taller, less or no tapered, wide brim. I think you'd look fantastic in it. [huh]

Thanks Bolt! I have a Towncraft OR clone & a Resistol Saddler rolling it's way to me... but they're in Silver Belly, not sure if I can pull off a light color like that.

Plus the TC has a standard LBJ bash so I need to redo it into a fed style .. the other is good to go, with some minor shaping I think it should be fine, well according to the reference pictures the seller posted with it anyway. [huh]

Won't know till they arrive though ... any day now

While I agree with bolthead that a tall, no taper crown and a wider (2 5/8") brim would look very good on you, The Traveller does look good.
As to Silverbelly, I believe the contrast with your skin tone would look good as well. Paired with mid to light tone clothing, Silverbelly could be an outstanding choice.
