Borsalino Renna. Qualità Speciale. Size 7 or 7 5/8 in US

Color "Ninfea" with matching ribbon in the same felt width 2 cm. with a particular bow

This hat is a "Cocisca" model

The brim, oversewn are 6 cm. and the low point crown is 10.5 centimeters

Made probably in the 1950s for Carlo Lambardi - Roma hats shop, now closed

It is with classic lining in white and yellow, very well finished
Classic Borsalino golden sweatband stamps classified the hats as "Qualità Speciale"

Felt is soft and very malleable with a rare color "Ninfea"

Price required are $ 130, plus shipping $ 40 with tracking package for the USA, other cost for others countries
A rare occasion to have a Borsalino in a rare color and shape

I am also amazed that a similar hat has gone unnoticed, yet it is a rarity, difficult to find, but maybe it is our Borsalino addiction to make us talk Hope someone keep his eyes wide!

This is a unique and interesting hat. I’ve looked at it a dozen times but there just isn’t enough brim for me. I hope it finds a good home; the price makes this a steal!

Gorgeous hat in a beautiful color. The size would fit for my misshapen head, however unsure about the narrow ribbon makes me wonder. The top of the hat would probably appear too tall/big for me, I feel more comfortable with a wider ribbon. I could have it shipped to either the US or to Germany.

A comment from the one who found it, along with many others: this is a particular Borsalino which is not very attributable to the Borsalino classics. They are for me, Italian collector, the rarest because they are different. It's too big for me, otherwise I would never have put it on the market. One last note on the proportions of the hats: it is the hatter who decides the balance between brim and crown, height of the ribbon and color and finish of the felt, we can assent or disagree according to our tastes, however this Borsalino is a rarity well little findable in the future.

I love when I come across a ribbon style I have never seen before. Too bad the hat is too large.
