I agree that this is a gorgeous hat. If you had listed it a few weeks ago, I would have jumped on it immediately; but right now I have three custom orders going (I know, I'm quickly becoming an addict).

Still...I'd be interested in learning a couple more details: 1) Would you describe the felt as a middle gray, and the ribbon as a light gray? 2) What is the brim width, about 2 5/8"?

Thanks!

This is not my size....but it always amazes me that these high quality rare Fedoras - especially in this condition - don't get snapped up in minutes here. The haggard early Whippets go for more than this on the Bay - and who is buying those? - 95% chance its a TFL member.

This hat is a bargain for all of its features - and then knowing it won't come balled up in a plastic bag stuffed into a shoe box - well I just don't get it.

I am glad you got the hat... I was about ready to see if a trade for my Dobbs 20 vvL (very very light) was in order..... but i already have a borso in those colors..............
Yeah...the colors (and everything else about the hat) are terrific. The warm tone of gray felt is nicely balanced by the cooler gray of the ribbon.
