My guess would be early 90s. I once had a Como, loved it specially the whip stitching around the brim. Sadly I left it inside a NYC Cab.

Your right A, that's what the previous owner told me. It's a nice thick felt unlike a couple other comos that I have from different periods. Unfortunately dark brown is not my color or I would have kept this one.
