I havn't seen this movie but the great article on which it is based does go into awesome detail about bootlegging and its connection to early stock car racing.

Two that come to mind are . . .

1. The Moonshine War (1970) staring Patrick McGoohan, Richard Widmark and Alan Alda and

2. Bootleggers (1974) with Paul Koslo, Dennis Fimple, Slim Pickens and Jaclyn Smith (re-released as Bootleggers Angel after Smith became popular as one of Charlie's Angels).
