What I have here for sale is a Bond fifteen fedora.
It's black, with a creme colored satin liner.
The felt is in very nice condition, with no moth bites anywhere, and no discoloration.
The plastic in the liner is slightly discolored.
The brim is an inch and three quarters, and it sports a cavanagh edge.

This is a size 7.

I had the same problem trying to unload a whole group of mine here awhile ago. Perhaps we've hit on the true meaning of the "stingy" brim?? lol

It could just be luck, or lack thereof. I moved a lot of four vintage stingies here on the FL classifieds in a day or so. A fellow Lounger and I arrived at a deal satisfactory to both of us. If yours doesn't get a nibble soon, I say give it a week or so and then bump it back up. It looks like a real nice lid, and it's a size that many could wear either as is or with a slight stretch. While is appears true that most of us here go for the wider brims, there are avid stingy-brim fans among us. Maybe they're all just on vacation this week.

I seem to find nothing but stingy sixties hats.

Just bought 3 the other day! I've got 2 Dobbs 5th Avenues, a black one and a sage colored one, size 7. Also a Richman Bros. Fairfax in black, 7 and 1/8.
Also after checking ebay today, there seems to be a profusion of these hats in these sizes out there at the present time.

Well I like that type of hat also but it's too small for me. Has to be 7 3/4 and I'd have to give it a bit of a stretch on top of that... Good luck. It is a nice looker.

What a shame because I am in the market for a black stingy but I wear between a 7 1/4 and 7 3/8 depending on the maker and age.

I am currently trying to make a 7 1/8 resistol fit my head via stretching. Not much success yet, I am afraid.
