Nope, regular oval, the hat was just stiff. Next time I go by Levine's, I'll see if they have any more Boaters and see what they're like again. I don't think that the shape is that bad, but these were STIFF.

Hmm, like I said, I know nothing about Olneys or Tesis, except what I've read here: Maybe they are really stiff. My Lee, while in no risk of losing its shape, has a good bit of spring to it.

Just bought a new boater online to replace the one my daughter accidently sat on last year.

Hope it leave up to my dreams , my previous one was from the 1920’s and this is a modern thing.

I suspect I will be scared to open the package when it comes.

I am not anti-boater, wish I could pull them off. I just don't think they fit me.
