Bette Davis eyes are fine, why fiddle with perfection.
Good night.
Good night.
I see your point. I think they went too far.I don't think I even want to continue watching this series.
I don't understand people put off by the violence. It is a story about prohibition era gangsters, it is going to get very violent, I think you know that going in.
^It can be done with taste, and it can be done without taste.
That's because they have a sugar-coated view of the period and the people in it.
Or perhaps they just don't see why it has to be so gory? I have seen some episodes of Dexter and while violent as well, it is done very tastefully.
Perhaps you Americans are used to this, I have no idea what's going on in television and movies at the moment. I do know, though, that the show could do well without all the violence.
But then, I'm not used to seeing violence.
Unlike some people I don't see why showing skin is such a bad thing...

Like folks who move next to an airport and complain about the noise : it is what it is and you should know what to expect from the sign over the door. Don't like it, don't watch it.
Or perhaps you prefer a skewed view of crime history.
I guess the difference in a show like Dexter is you end up rooting for the man committing the violence
