Yeah, can't beat a boxer. I bought a Suzuki GS850G this summer to complement my CJ and I think I'm going to get rid of it. Just not my thing...
Ed- check with MV magazine (out of Iola, WI)) and on the web- There's a place called oldtimers garage in Poland that also restores and sells R75's. They have a good reputation and also make repro parts for prewar BMW's. A CJ can be made into a dead ringer for an R71 (repro R71 gas tank, fenders, etc.) but those of us in the know will always be able to tell...
A lot of people have been burned by sellers overseas and here in the US selling CJs, M72's, K750s. etc. as genuine prewar or wartime bikes. Most people can't tell the difference. Beware anything that is described as a "1959 BMW and just found stored in a crate!"
