Removal of the voice-over platitudes that Scott was made to put in really elevates the film for me. The movie makes its points just fine without everything being spelled out in overly, and overtly, sincere soundbites.
An amazing flick, now even more amazing still. The scene with the replicant owl should be a template for filmmakers on how to set an otherwordly mood.
