Sadly, I'll never be able to wear this one (comfortably) unless I have is sized smaller. I really do not want to do that, so I'm passing it along to you guys and gals.
From what I can tell this is from the mid 30s. I found a newspaper article advertising this model from 1936. First page, under the "Fashion Craft" ad
I can't recall the exact dimensions, as the hat is in storage right now, but I believe the brim is between 2 1/4 and 2 1/2 inches and the crown is about 4 1/2 to 5 inches. I am going to double-check this tomorrow. The condition is fantastic for a hat this is possibly 74 years old. The only flaws are the slight stains on the liner (pictured) and the stitching has come undone in a small area of the sweatband. Overall, a fantastic specimen.
I'm looking for $200 plus shipping, but I'm open to offers. Paypal please.
