This one is on the way to me. It is a silverbelly beaver felt with a silver Playboy style ribbon and 2 3/4" brim. Bob sent two pictures and the color seems to change in different lighting. I think it looks great and I can't wait to see the liner and ostrich sweatband. Thanks Bob!

A post of a 1930s catalog had a Wanderer in it...can't seem to find it....it looked fairly much the same = mid-ribbon, bound edge....

This beauty arrived today!

It's a bit of The Regulateur, but with a diamond bash and charcoal/silver ribbon. Extremely difficult color to reproduce on screen, especially since I only had a tungsten light at hand.. I'd say I'ts like a ~3-5 year old bordeaux, not brick red like a really old wine, but definitely not purple like a fresh one!

Well i recieved this last thursday & Bob was easy to work with & a Nice fellow !

Looks like i got one of the last hats he worked on.

I decided to get this Rabbit Heathered Felt & as far as i know its the only 100% Rabbit hat i own & actually know up front thats Bunny Fur 100%.
I am strictly a Light Weight Felt Guy, so Bob mentioned this is the lightest according to my needs though he was happy to pounce the heck
out of one of his Beaver Felts to soften & lighten up , but this caught my eye & i really liked the Heather Black Sheep Mike posted recently.

I gave it a good work out yesterday & its good. Very Soft, Conforms very well & airy !
Note ! my pics were (FOB) fresh outta box, the crown now actually has a insanely cool reverse taper
during shipping all hats recieve some miss-shaping , this recieved a easy tweek
& yes the rear is higher than front of crown.........

Fun-Facts
crown height, front= 4 5/8'' side 5 5/8'' rear 4 3/4''
Brim width, 2 1/2'' with almost a 1/16 less on the sides
Leather Sweat, a whopping 2'' & damm good stuff feels like Kangaroo but i did not ask...

As i requested,
No Lining Just a wide sweat & its a good sweat band, Yea i know Bob does some Killer interiors in the hat biz.
That is not my bag, Fit & Feel is !

Interior is Nice & shows simple elegance.

I do dig the triple stitching which showed up well in all the fuzzy felt.

Cool Ribbon & ill leave the Plumage on, Like i said i could have taken better pics to justify its colors right.

It's KILLER Che! I love the range of colors in the fuzzy bunny fur. The profile and reverse taper are so you. The one sided bow is one of my favorite ribbon treatments too.

I received a panama, a milan, and an Alpine Mist, and my wife received milan all in short order in the last month or so while Bob was making hats full time. That will have to hold me until he returns this fall.

Che, THAT HAT IS GORGEOUS!!!! I LOVE the proportions!! I wasn't aware that Winchester made longhair heather felt bodies. The execution of the 3 row stitching is perfect, the blocking is gorgoues, the ribbon work is superb, the sweatband detail is great, and I love the liner tip. Could you tell me the open crown and brim dimensions?
