Garret and I paid a visit to Bob today, oh what fun we had. I was excited to pickup this new project, a parabuntal. Finally. I've been looking/waiting seemingly forever. This was a lucky break for me resulting from a deal involving John Galt and Garrett. I ended up with a body too big for Garrett so shout out to Garrett and Tahj for letting me sneak in. So long story short:

Juicy details: 2 1/2 brim, crown front 4 3/4, middle 5 3/4 (!), back 5 even. Ribbon is 2 1/8 from the Garrett collection, check out the wind trolley button, matches the ribbon pattern, Bob is slick! This hat weighs 2.25 oz finished, can't even feel it on my head but do notice the brim fluttering in a breeze. LOVE this hat!

Mike, that hat is fantastic in every respect. It must have been a great feeling to acquire one of those bodies and Bob is just the man to bring it to life.

Bob is producing some super hats at the moment - that little stroll in the countryside he did a while ago must have been a source of inspiration.

That bottom ribbon harkens back to a Stagecoach.

Mike, the parabuntal is beautiful. I can't believe you found that body. The ribbon is very unique and perfect for the hat. The hat looks as if it will blow off your head, it's so light.
