Thanks guys, I'm not in a rush, I just wanted to know the approximate time you guys waited before getting your hats. Nice things take time to make so I'm OK with the wait. I'll probably fire him an email soon.

All the best
I think my wait for the last one was around 4 months...if I'm remembering right. But now I have it forever! :)

Your signature quote is excellent, beliero.

Indeed and from a Britton nonetheless, I bet he would cry if he saw the guns laws in UK nowadays! Orwell is know as an intellectual but was also a man of action, especially during his policing days in Burma.

My wife's Grandad was an Irish immigrant who fought in WWII. He was livid that the British government dumped the guns that he and other Americans sent them in the channel after the war, and mentioned this every time the subject of The Big One came up. I've never researched it, mind you - I've just taken it as true. He probably didn't start out as being a fan in the first place, though...

To help on that end, here's a lovely heather blue bowler that Bob has made for me. Couldn't be more happy at how this turned out. Thanks to MikesPens as well, his heather blue fedora with the sharks gill ribbon is what gave the idea to go to Bob for this hat. I'll be sure to post a shot of a very pleased customer as soon as it's safely in my hands.

Thanks guys, I was telling Bob that i'm going to wear this hat like crazy. I'm also oddly enough pleased by the fact that I have a hat now that will bring some future hat wearer a great deal of excitement when they stumble across it in a vintage shop a hundred years from now.

OCMH, that is a magnificent hat, very fine indeed! I really like the color, the heather finish and the ribbon/bow treatment. The feather accent really pulls it all together.

Congratulations!
