Just scored this navy blue (washed out by flash) Biltmore - does anybody know how old it might be? Dinerman?

I was looking at that one and had a snipe bid on it up until the last few hours, and then I backed off. Wasn't sure how it would look on me, and I keep getting burned with my EBay purchases.

The seller described the color as a bluish-gray to me when I pressed her on whether or not it was actually a BLUE hat... So yes, I think you were right to assume it was essentially gray... That was my conclusion.

Terrific. Another ebay seller missing brain cells. How does one look at a gray hat and call it dark blue? Amazing! Are these people on crack? Calm down, Steve. You won't know for sure until you see for yourself.

My luck, the hat will be pink.

Gonna have to cast my vote with those who say it is an older Biltmore. 'Cause the interior looks nothing like my "modern" Biltmore.

Biltmore Has Arrived And I've Got the "Blues"

Well, I'm quite pleased with the Biltmore because it definitely is more blue than gray. The ribbon has nice detailing - every inch there is a raised vertical line. It is called a "Roller" hat. I went to the Biltmore website and in their glossary section they defined Roller as a hat with a brim meant to be turned up all around. But you can definitely snap it down in front or swoop it if you are so inclined. What do you think?

Help with info on Biltmore Velvet Model 257-57

HI All
Im new to lounge and Im trying to find out more information on Biltmore Velvet Model 257-57 (at least thats what it says on tag inside liner. Can anyone other shed some light on age & other info about hat.
