I bought this A-2 off VLJ, but it was originally sold here. I'm usually a 40, but the measurements on this 42 were pretty nice (although I feel the sleeves are slightly long). It came with stitch marks where the old name tag was removed. I sent it in to Shaul at US Authentic and he made a name tag for me. The raised arms shot is just to show how nice the armholes are in this jacket. It's Liberty hide with a lot of character. I feel the fit is perfect for me. It has enough room for a layering underneath, but still looks fairly trim.

As you say, sleeves are just marginally too long, but they may still crease up more and it's overall a great fit and beautiful jacket. Oh, and only people on here are going to notice the sleeve length, when you are moving around in the real world they will look and be functionally perfect.

That is beautiful man! Love that leather and, while the sleeve length may not be ideal, it's not like they are ludicrously long either.

Nice one Grayland!
That's a beautiful color.
While you're out with the camera, how about some update shots on your Ventura ;)

Really nice, i wouldn't worry about the sleeves, the jacket looks like it was barely worn.
Give it time so the creases really settle in, and i am sure they will be perfect.

looks great - enjoy. if you are able to wear something thicker under the jacket during the cooler months, the sleeves will probably be fine as they will fill out and pull back a little. They are good now, probably not worth tweaking at the tailor!

Very nice jacket and the fit seems perfect. Maybe I'm a bit practical-minded, but I like to be able to accommodate at least a light sweater under my jacket. It gives you a lot more wear opportunities. Great find.

Superb Werber, Grayland- you must be thrilled with it!! Getting a second-hand jacket to fit like that can be really, really tough. Guessing this is an older batch of Liberty? Looks much waxier and with more heft than the new stuff

Nice jacket, nice fit...
For the sleeves, just wear it in the rain once...dry in on you ( on you is important) ...the sleeves will fit then after.
