Hi Kojax--I was wondering if you use film rather than digital for your photography--this may put another obstacle in the way of posting pictures here.
He didn't want a Navy jacket in replacement HD, and he also didn't want a jacket made from whatever was in stock at the time. He picked the special leather which run out of stock before we were able to make his jacket. So now he is waiting for the replenishment. All this time there were other options, Badalassi, Antique VHH, but he chose to wait. He has patience. Good things come to those who wait. Jeff will get an amazing jacket soon.
hello andy what is the time line on your a-2 jackets now, i have a few friends in the us looking for a-2 jacket. i will show them mying when i get it thanks again kojax
I suspect that will have much to do with what hide they are interested in.
Yep.
Was not interested in another try at a M422. No sense in cluttering up the already cluttered closet with a jacket I just didn't have faith that I would be wearing.
BK's version just wasn't my cup of tea, pictures I'd seen of subsequent M422's didn't do anything to change my opinion, and I have several other vintage and reproduction M422's and G1's that I figured would be getting all the wearing time.
Actually the return/replacement was arranged last December when BK offered to replace my M422 with an A2 made with their "Victory Horse" leather.
Not sure what happened after that. Saw jackets made with VH leather going out whose orders were placed after mine, then some issues with leather delivery.
Was offered a jacket made with Badalassi steer hide...I prefered to stick with the VH. I've heard so much about it.
it would be a nice christmas gift GOOD LUCK
Interesting. Had the sleeves shortened by 1". Must you still roll them up..??
HD
I had it shortened AFTER the picture HD
Here goes...
At the request of a customer, made to resemble this http://image.artfact.com/housePhotos/case/47/416647/H4137-L41104723.jpg
and built with the best capeskin in the world comes this jewel of a jacket. If its label read Lanvin or Balmain one would have to splash Eur 3-4,000 to buy it.

Ordered mine and paid on October 14. Delay in getting a special lining fabric from China (not a Bill Kelso line item and custom fabric) and the A-2 ships tomorrow. VERY happy with everything Andy has done.
Hey ausreenactor: special lining from China?!?! Sounds intriguing...what is it? Silk, perhaps?
True. If they order Badalassi, we can ship in 1-2 weeks.
Then where's mine, lol?
Ooh imported from China, must be exotic and rare
