Big floods in Garland Tx.

My brother lives just south of Garland, and it was mainly just a rain event. A continual rain event.

My cousin, however, lives in Midlothian, south of Dallas, near where that dam nearly broke. Her empty 6 foot pool filled up and began overflowing over the course of one evening. Unbelievable.

Cant remember if you were down there recently or were going soon...?

I was there last week and for the first time ever I left without buying a thing. They seemed really picked over. No Premier Strats or open crowns in my size.

The Hatco campus is sort of the high ground for that area so I doubt they have any worries. That being said, a LOT of places in the DFW area that were never thought of as at risk for flooding have flooded. I'm seeing turtles packing their stuff and heading west.
