Best place to acquire reproduction women's WWII uniforms?

Well, the body is basically the title :). I've looked and looked and looked but haven't been able to find a single supplier of reproduction women's service uniforms, despite seeing them at many reenactments. I'm especially interested in the WAVES officer summer whites.

I see a handful of items here and there for sale, or some really questionable-looking places in Europe. But I have yet to find the equivalent of WWII Impressions, At the Front, What Price Glory, etc. for ladies!

I contacted the owner of Blitzkrieg Baby, as she really knows her stuff but her links are quite out of date, and she was unfortunately too busy to answer.

Any advice? Experience? Thanks so much all!!

They don’t really carry women’s stuff, especially not the service uniforms. Anyone else have any other suggestions? Thanks!

Waves uniforms are difficult to find reproduction. Try Sharons Creative sewing on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/vintageseamstress/ a few ladies I know who portray flight nurses have used her and she she and I are talking about a Santiago Blue WASP uniform for me. You there are a few facebook groups that might be useful one is female reenactors supporting each other. My WAC uniform is mostly from Soldier of Fortune but also from wwii impressions, my service heels are from all heels on duty, though they have dropped off the face of the planet lately. My WASP uniform I was lucky and found an unissued pair of 1938 hbt coveralls and fount a Cooper A-2 jacket on poshmark on poshmark less than $100. We often use a combo of originals and reproductions as women. It is definitely important to find other women to help, I would encourage you to look for groups in Facebook and chat to female reenactors who are wearing the uniforms you are looking for.
