A quick search for Chambray shirts revealed many hits. I don't know if what you are looking for is there or not, but there is a lot of information.

Thanks. I was looking for a post ranking them, not several posts on separate brands. That said, the one comparing Buzz Ricksons and Freewheelers is relatively applicable.

Mostly, I’m interested in comparing Mr. Freedom and Real McCoy’s Chambray shirts. I made another post about it earlier in the Outerwear and Workwear thread since I technically think Chambrays fall under “Workwear.” I felt bad because I think the probably wasn't the forum to post that thread, maybe someone can combine it with this one over here or delete it. Either way, I redid it over here because this forum seemed like a more appropriate spot.

Looking for the best in quality.
I have a Burgus Plus blue one I bought direct from Hinoya, great price on a very high quality medium weight workshirt with white buttons, that I much prefer to the blue buttons often found on Naby style repros. The Blue is beautiful, a bit darker that some but still on the lighter side.

I also have an amazing discontinued one acorn pocket Freenote Cloth one that is cut perfectly, the blue is a shimmery brilliant one that is the nicest blue Chambray I've ever seen.

I also have a really nice vintage RRL one and a discontinued modern slim cut Bleu de Gênes one I like a lot. All are different shades of blue and are more or less casual or versatile depending on their cut and button colour. The Real McCoys and Iron Heart make very well regarded one; I had an IH one but it was too slim on the chest for me, and the cut is not my favourite, I prefer a bit wider sleeves and a tapered waist rather than the tube-like cut that IH uses on a lot of their shirts.

Finally, if you don't want the classic blue or red, The Rite Stuff makes an amazing Salt and Pepper Sage green one, I just received it after waiting for ages for them to be restocked; the cut is very old fashioned in a great way, not too billowy but generous in the body and shoulders, while having an overall great design with a lot of nice small details like more easily rolled up sleeves.

I recommend trying used first, if you can't try different ones on and see the colours, or order from places that have a few different ones so you can return them if you don't like them or prefer something else.

IME experience Freewheelers are generally the highest quality in terms of fabrics and tailoring, RM makes great shirts but their Chambrays seem to all be naval style. Mister FreedoM quality is always very high, too, but i have no experience with their chambrays.

You can't go wrong with any of the modern Japanese Chambray fabrics, whether in a Japanese branded shirt or one made in the US or Europe. I would choose according to your desired weight, cut, and colour rather than worry too much which is 'best' or highest quality.

I am looking for a Naval Style, just without the stencil.

I think Buzz Rickson's or RM would be your best bet, they both have a few different models, the BRs being a lot cheaper and still great quality. If you're in Europe Pike Brothers make a nice one.
Unfortunately, I have store credit with Standard and Strange, so it must be RM. I bought an RM from them, but it was too small, so I just took the refund money and bought a cheaper one from a different brand. Unfortunately, Standard and Strange doesn’t refund you; it just exchanges and stores credit. I have enough jackets, and most of the stuff on standard and strange is far more expensive than a Chambray, severely limiting my options. With $270, Idk what else I could buy, and I still want a Chambray, after all.

Don’t they offer a few other Navy options than just RM ?

This Eastman Leather one looks great and is less expensive than the RM. Nice light blue.

The other one I saw was Mr. Freedom, any suggestions on what I should get with the remainder of my credit.
