When is a beret not a beret?

One answer is "When it's a Elosegui Soleil."

In trying to find a cap that was like a "Captain's cap" or a French Breton cap or a Greek fisherman's cap,
I came to the conclusion that I was looking for something much like a beret but with a visor.
After telling Daan about my search, I found he had a few of the Elosegui Soleil.
These are berets with a visor sewn on.
I got a black (about 27 cm) and a chocolate brown (about 25 cm).
This is what I was looking for.

Pushing 60 losing my hair so grew a beard to compensate. I will never be a hipster but in my opinion berets and beards (also mustaches) just compliment each other.

Problems -again- with the restocking of Argentinian berets. The previous shipment took 16 months between placing my order and it's delivery here in Wellington and I fear it is going to be a close race for the present order.

What does that mean? A few models have already sold out (especially some of the Espinosa and sunwashed Tolosa Tupida models) and many, or most, berets are only available in (very) small numbers.

The Argentine berets are really unique in the sphere of Basque Berets; no other traditional manufacturer offers a range as extensive and high quality in cotton berets, while the merino wool models are likely the best value for money in any beret - light, easy to fit and very well made.

Berets with headband won't be restocked and most remaining stock is now on clearance. If you want to ensure your own, best to order soon!
