Absolutely stunning jacket

Run, don't walk and get those pants made NOW.

Someone with that much skill should be supported as much as possible and the price is absolutely incredible.

Your friend's suit is also eye-candy.

My brother lives in Sydney, and it's reasonable to assume I will visit him in the future. Does your tailor make women's clothing?

Wear it in good health.

Most tailors who make men's clothing are also very capable of making bespoke for women, but rarely get to exercise it from what I understand. Bespoke seems to be something men are attracted to more, as most women today are just motivated by brand name or what fashion dictates. Which is unfortunate because women can be just as difficult or more so to fit than men, since they have even more... idiosyncracies to their body type.

Betty, Mario has done women's tailoring, more from an alterations perspective I believe, but I'll check with him when I see him this week. And don't fear, we keep Mario well fed with the amount of custom and referrals we bring him! lol

Cookie, the navy blue suit is, would you believe, a suit I won on Ebay UK that turned out to be a size bigger than the seller posted, and it was from the 1970s! The pics clearly showed the 40s-style wide lapels and button stance, but when I received the suit, it had trousers with slightly flared bottoms devoid of a cuff, and long vents on the sides of the jacket. On the up side, the fabric is heavy 14oz wool, with those great lapels and a lighter blue pinstripe running through it, so off to Mario it went for 'fixing'. The vents are gone, the pants are now slightly tapered and cuffed to a 19-inch bottom, and and jacket has been resized to fit me.
