This vintage BTS has been my favorite everyday buckle since I was a kid, I inherited it from my grandmother and I believe it's from the mid 70's but am not sure.

For belts I really like Brennemans, they're American made, decent quality, and they're only about $30 at the local feed store.
I've had this one for about 10 years.

The only belt I made myself, leather is not that heavy because i need it to drape on my jacket 2mm vegtan, i also wet it and "shape" it a bit so it cant lay flat anymore. Buckle and ring and chicago screw I bought online, pat dyed with black leather dye and unsealed, the smooth cap of the screws are facing inside to be gentler to the jacket.

Here’s a couple of new belts. The lapis channel inlay buckle set I’ve had for some time. It’s by C Benally.

The black belt is a simple harness strap with basket weave stamping and is 1 1/2” tapering to 3/4”.

The second belt is is a hand hitched horsehair one with tooled leather ends. Still buckle shopping for it. 1 1/2”.

3 years of daily wear on the brown one from Siberia. Lovely brass hardware! Received the black teocore one today, made by a leather worker in Serbia. Both custom and made to my spec. Aaaand one more on the way from Ukraine, made from Horween Dublin and Klamra hardware! Will post it here when I get it.

As it's rather hard to get belts with Horween leather in EU I can share my experience with Balabanoff goods in Ukraine:
The belt I ordered from him also came with a buckle from Klamra (Also Ukraine, already mentioned them on this thread). Got a cool belt hanger as well from Klamra.
The leather used was Horween Dublin. In hindsight I would not recommend it as it's rather too thin and stretchy for a serious belt. Ok for a dress belt I suppose. Gorgeous though.
All together with shipping it was around ~100eu.
If I'd buy the hardware from Klamra directly that alone would be ~60eu. So this was a pretty good custom deal for me.
Adding some photos of the belt itself, the hanger and some comparison photos to my other two belts.
Which belt do you like best?
This Horween one will go to my wife (fits her great and she loves it!) and I'll use the other two.
Thank you for reading!
