Looking through the Mister Freedom website, I had noticed this belt. Sorry if it had been discussed prior, but my searches came up empty. Any info on maker, style or construction would be appreciated.

Looks like a conch belt, Jim Morrison style.
Hard to tell what this one is specifically but i am sure you can find something similar online googling conch belt, maybe add them yourself to a belt strap.

After years of trial and error with belts, I have discovered Hanks Belts are the very best, specifically their Canyon (I have all three colors) and their Esquire (dress belt; have black and brown colors). I even have their Tuscan in both colors. Their gun belts are a bit too heavy duty for my purposes. Although I own Alden and Allen Edmonds belts, I've given most of those away as Hanks Belts are IMHO better made and more wearable. Incredible value for the money!

I have stumbled upon their website and I think I am going to purchase a belt from them. I thank you for the info.

I recommend their Canyon model as a good starting point. The first belt I bought from Hanks was their Premium 18oz Double belt, extremely well made, but found it a bit too stiff and thick for me and sent it back. All of their belts are substantial but found the Canyon for general wear and Esquire for dress best served my purposes. As I said earlier, their Tuscan is exceptional too and probably the most supple of all. I currently own eight of their belts that have shoved the rest of my belts to the back of my belt rack or gone. In addition I also bought their deluxe Bison wallet that will likely outlive me!

that ranger belt looks cool, I wonder if this thick belt is shaped to be round or can be hang straight, I imagine since it is dual layer and on some part 4 layers, I kinda guess the inside layer is made shorter to not pucker when worn but then you can't store them by hanging on a hook has to coil them and so on.

I agree they look cool. I have never handled one or seen one in person. So I’m gonna have to purchase one and see how it is to live with on the daily. I like the look and appreciate the sturdiness of this type.
