Belt for Schott 568 Vandals jacket

Instead of using the official Schott BLTV belt that goes with the 568 jacket, are there similar steerhide belts from other makers that are available to be used for the jacket?

The Schott belt looks like a high quality from the website images. The buckle is not period correct but you can just replace it with a garrison type. Here is a link for a 1.5" Boston brittle leather belt.
