BEAVER FELT FEDORA: FULL CUSTOM 1/1 LUCKY STRIKE: 7 3/8 SEE PICS

For consideration is one very unique and one of a kind custom “Lucky Strike” Fedora. This fully customized piece was commissioned by me last year by the Brass Rooster Hatter out of Milwaukee. And while they did an absolutely First Class job on all aspects of the production, I never fully connected with the piece as I thought I would and it doesn’t get the wear it truly deserves. So with that being said the time has come to move this along to someone that will enjoy it and wear it with aplomb!! The hat is 100% Winchester Beaver Fur Felt (Dress Western Weight or close to it) size 7 3/8. The brim is malleable, but the main ‘body’ is firm and pretty well set in its ways. Its been shaped into a diamond crown with a moderate Rake with ‘coffin’ nails folded into the design on the 4 sides of the Crown adding to its unique delivery. The brim measures just a hair under 3 ¼ inches and is fully bound. The front of the crown measures about 4 ¾ and tapers down to 3 ½ on the backside. It certainly has some slant to the look, but not excessively so.
As for the emblem, the Lucky Strike logo and metalwork was taken from a very rare blue-colored Lucky Strike tin that was produced in limited quantities for the European market years ago. Pieces of the tin are also incorporated into the jute cord that is tied around the ribbon.
This hat was a labor of love in design and execution and will make the end-user VERY pleased and happy to own and wear, there’s no doubt there. Between the softness of the felt, the uniqueness of the design and tan to golden hues of color this will turn heads, elicit conversation and bring a smile to a very ‘Lucky’ individual.
