Beaver Creek Hats

Has anyone had any dealings with Beaver Creek Hat and Leather in Jackson, Wyoming. How was the quality? Did they provide good communication and service? What was the quality of the finished product. Thanks for any information you can provide a newbie

I have had a great experience with them, and just ordered a 8X beaver Presidential model, that they make in house. Similar to an Open Road. The felt is really nice. John is a great help. I highly recommend the shop, staff, and product.

They are a Mom and Pop shop. Their website is in the works. You have to do it the old fashioned way. Phone call.

Yeah - I worked as oilfield trash in Wyoming for a while. Not a lot of people there. When I worked in Bill, WY there were 2.5 people per square mile. I see that it has blossomed to 5...

But back to Beaver Creek, are they simply a reseller or do they actually make some custom hats?

Fed, based on what Harv (1mach1) wrote above, he has ordered a custom hat that they make in-house and has had good experiences with previous orders.

So it seems safe to say they do make custom hats and their service has pleased the one Lounger who has come forward to say he's bought from them.

However, it's easy to see from the commercial why you might not be sure, since it only shows them "distressing" a hat, rather than making one from scratch.

It'll be great to see if anyone else has dealt with or visited this hatter.
