I've had this Beaver brand Open Road clone sitting for some time, and it's too nice a hat to go to waste. I just have too many Open Roads, and this one can benefit someone else. Too bad, because some of the best hats I own are Beaver brand - I like their stuff.
There is a FLAW. There are numerous moth bites both on top of and underneath the brim. None of them go all the way through, and with patience I think you can moderate their appearance using techniques which have been discussed lately. BUT - if having moth nibbles on a hat turns you off, don't pursue it. I've shown them in photos.
The hat has stiffish felt (not as stiff as the 70's Open Roads, just firm enough to feel good), and the ribbon-edged brim has a very nice "snap" when flipped down. Color is the typical sand/tan. Brim is 2 3/8" wide, crown is 4 3/4" high. The liner is in good shape as shown.
I want $45 plus shipping, and you'll have a good hat!
