Beautiful civilian British A2 (?)

Found this guy in a regular thrift shop in Oslo, Norway.

Seems like its an early one. Any ideas on date? It feels almost like new and it is extremely solid. The leather is very soft/buttery with no damage.

Very happy with the find, and the best part is that it fits perfectly. Id tip a short 38

So what do you guys think? England or Canada? 30s or 50s? The twill lining reminds me of that you find in British ww2 uniforms.

I'd say it is British, post war, most likely circa 1955-65.
