I always hate to hear about things like this. It seems that it's always the good folks that suffer the most. Barbigirl definitely will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Barbigirl is one of the shining stars of the Lounge. Thank God it's a good prognosis. But she'll probably have long and painful therapy to undergo before it's over.
Is there anything we can do? Is there an address where we can send cards or flowers? I know stuff like that can lift a person's spirits.
I'd like to add that I feel awful sorry for the family of the person who was killed. He or she and the driver were probably both out carousing, but this is a terrible price to pay for hanging out with the wrong people.
