Thank you all for your kind words.

She is my first, so I was expecting a relatively long labor. Miss Lily had other ideas. From the time my water broke to the time she was here was less than nine hours. It was pretty quick, and very, very intense. I'm rather sore because of it. :eusa_doh:

She is a really good baby. She doesn't cry unless you are messing around with changing her or she's letting you know that she's ready to eat. It usually lasts only for a few seconds. Mostly though she makes these really cute squeaking noises.

I initially saw this in another thread and gave my congrats there. I'm glad to read that you and baby Lily are doing well, glad you are home and settling in.

I also have to wonder...Should this be in the Powder Room under "Show Us What You've Made"?

BTW the preemie hats you made are too cute! What a good Mommy Miss Lily has! My cousins were twin preemies (23yrs ago) at 4lbs and 2+lbs. They had to wear the less fashionable hospital hats!

Is she sleeping at night?

I wish! We're on a feeding-every-two-hours schedule, which means I get maybe 40 minutes of sleep every couple of hours once she's done eating, being burped, changed, etc. Exhausting, but she's so worth it!

Just be aware that good first babies can trick you into giving them brothers and sisters. (On this at least, the old geezer knows whereof he speaks--we have five.)
