Just thinking about this the other day: what commonly available products/items are unchanged since the old days that people could possibly be missing by not knowing their availability? I'll start with a list of a few things that are definitely vintage and mostly unchanged.
Toiletries:
1. Fels Naptha Soap. Smells great, works great, even Wal-Mart carries it.
2. Brylcreem - works great for your hair!
3. Vitalis - Slightly less good, but useful if you like the dry look.
Housewares:
1. Juice Glasses/Milk Glasses of the 50's: For some odd reason, my grocery store carries these and they look exactly the same. Cheap and plastic. I have a sstore called "Reasors" here, but check yours. No one has redesigned juice glasses in 50 years.
2. Diner Mugs - this one is kind of a cheat, but I got mine on Amazon.com as a set of 6. They are larger so they can accomodate modern Keurig servings.
Groceries:
1. Glass bottle Cokes (Mexican): Made with sugar, old delicious taste, plus they are the "King" size.
Curious to hear your additions!
