With the climate getting crazier and crazier of late, I'm wondering if we'll get an Autumn here in Sydney this year. Last year I think it lasted about a fortnight. It literally went from 86 degree days to 55 degree days within two weeks. Autumn used to be a time of mild weather that gradually got colder over the space of 10-12 weeks, so that by the end of May it was down to 35 degrees at night and it was overcoat time. It was a great time to swap the Aloha shirts and short-sleeve gab shirts for wool suits and fur felt fedoras. I'm betting we'll go straight to the overcoats this year and skip the mild weather just like last year.
