Reminds me of the Henry Cho bit when he talks about his mother being late to the store and all that was left hot dog buns, so at school he ate peanut butter on hot dog buns.

lol Think I remember that bit.

Bread and milk here.
Well beer too. :D
Mae it's going to hit further down TX where my inlaws live.
They are in a town of 3,000 people where it takes about 5 minutes to pass through the entire place.
The bad part is the 4 lane highways surrounding them, there aren't any road crews, I mean why should there be?
Black ice caused my fil's truck (new at the time) to go round and round last time they got ice.
This time he's sick, and that might be a good thing, because he won't be on the highway.

:eeek: Yipes!

Hope all is well today! I know it snowed around Huntsville this morning, but think it's all passed by now. Have a good trip!

That is what I want to know? Can we drag them out and do it now? :p
:flame:
The ONLY thing I can say that I know about the books is that the author purposely had the characters wait until marriage before having relations. People griped about it but I say good for her.

It was around 65° maybe? I worked 11 hours, never made it outside.

Let's just say The Most Interesting Man in the World calls him for advice.
Mr Bean calls him for advice?

The trip was fine, fecking cold though!
My lodgings are quiet, but cool...55 last night.
I'd sleep in the main part of the house (I'm in the washer/dryer room with a heater), but one of my "girls" barks when someone walks through the dining room (if I'm sleeping on the floor in front of the gas heater), and the other girl "grabs." In the dark, it's a bit unnerving for my inlaws, especially when they are already headed to the potty. :D So I get a room to myself, which for years has been very nice.
Turning warmer by this weekend thankfully, so I can remove 2 layers of blankets, and one dog. :p

BTW apparently Texas got rain for Thankgiving, which they needed. My MIL said it rained 3 days straight.
That explains ponds where there shouldn't be, and my BIL's truck stuck (literally) in the yard.

It's a city but nothing is near it in either direction for a long ways.
Small communities but that's compared to the city of 3,000 people.
We got the bil's truck unstuck and he's gone, but left a 16yr old with us.
Guess I'll get to see San Antonio a few days from now, because I can't mail him. :D
That's okay, the wife and I found a nice restaurant in Elgin that serves BBQ brisket, chicken, and sausage last time we did this.
Being low carb, this is a wonderful stop on a 5hr round trip.
Weather is warming up a bit, so I might not need the heater on tonight.
But my fil's grass is knee high. Guess that will be tomorrow's project (fil still resting after hospital stay for a-fib). At least I can just ride the mower. :D

A riding mower?! That is cheating!
Save me some brisket and sausage. :p
The brother must have been happy and you were happy to get rid of him. :p
