Autumnal Thoughts........

We have temps in the teens during the winter, which will sap the heat right out of the house. :eeek:
Then of course we run several computers, tv, dvr, ps3, lights, etc.
With the old furnace, my bill was in the $300's and I kept expecting a Christmas card from the utility company for helping them have another great year. :eusa_doh:
$300!? The Utility Company must employ Evil Autumn in your area. lol lol

I suppose it's no coincidence that the Whitechapel or Jack the Ripper murders which occurred between August and November of 1888 was known as The Autumn of Terror.
Something must have been in the air.

It was the Evil Autumn influence. Ripper and Reaper are pretty darned close. Maybe they just got it wrong.

:eusa_clap

The highest bill I had, before making insulation improvements, was $360.
My wife came unglued!
Took forever to put all her pieces back together. ;)
Funny, she didn't see that she is partially responsible for that amount.
I'm not in this house alone...

Half of it should have come out of her allowance then.

It does.
I charge things, and she pays half of my CC bill.
So in a way it really does.
Hey I'd share if she could wear my shirts, play my video games, or cook using my specialty appliances. :D
She's driving my car, that's close enough.

Which btw since autumn is coming, I need to make sure it's waxed properly.
Don't like leaves sticking to the paint and making an impression.

As much as you do, she should pay the whole thing but at least you have a starting point. :p

I always assumed it was to do with the dark, but then with the smog they had in the East End back then, it's likely they didn't notice the difference....

Still, SAucy Jack's long gone, and these days the Summer heat is as deadly, so. Weather is still a little warmer than I'd prefer over here, but it's much more bearable now we're into October...
