Greetings All:
Anybody ever seen this hat manufacturer crest????
To clarify any confusion from earlier posts, this is the sweat crest and hat in question. There are no other embossments on the sweat only a round size tag near the sweat ribbon. I am very hesitant to manipulate the sweat being so elderly.
This is a pretty old hat in surprisingly good condition. I’ve seen this crest before but certainly don’t know where.
So, if any super sleuths out there can enlighten me i will be indebted. Quite the mystery.
Be well and thanks. Bowen

Thanks Bob: i’m thinking “maybe” an early “No Name Hat Company” associated with Stetson early on. I could be way off though. Hopefully we’ll hear from some hat historians.
Be well. Bowen
I dont know either, but it does look like a Stetson. Regardless, it is a real beauty!

Didn't the original Langenberg Hat Company use a griffin in their logo before becoming Lion Hats?
HJ: Thanks but i’m not sure about Langenberg but Lion used a couple grifs in the one i have. Not as ornate and wingless looking. Those critters were kinda popular but changed up a bit.
I’m thinking i need to slide a mirror behind the sweat for clues. I’ve seen this one somewhere. I know that.
Be well. Bowen

Greetings Carouselvic: Thank you for that. I sure wish some of the pics from 2010 in the Stetson Stuff thread you posted,i believe, still existed. I’m still re-reading it. Good stuff about Vanity hats etc. I know The Colonel has some info too to re-check.
Thanks again for the info.
Be well. Bowen

What were they of? I can repost almost every thing.
